There are those who use these trucks to compete amongst themselves in order to intensify their excitement when they are racing, but the main reason why we race these trucks is mainly for fun. There are so any different kinds of these radio controlled trucks and most of them fall under the category of those that are electronically powered and those which are gas powered. These two categories differ so much in the way they operate and in the way they are created.
Just as the name suggest, the electric power RC trucks are powered by a battery or batteries. These can use certain types of batteries for the racer to race the truck as much as they want. If the battery loses power, the user will just need to get another battery and the truck will be back for action. These are different form the gas powered truck, which are powered by gas as the name suggests. With these, you just need their gas for racing and in case it runs out, you will just have to replenish it in order to continue racing.
The electric powered RC trucks are less complicated when you compare to their gas powered RC counterparts. They are simply made in order not to challenge their users when they are racing and this is why they are common and a preference of many truck racers out there. The gas powered trucks are quite complicated and hard to learn especially if you are not familiar with racing, and they can become a great challenge to you. They can only be used in case of a racer who likes challenges and who is ready to learn something from the challenge.
The gas powered RC trucks, because of their complicated nature are only meant for the experienced truck racers. These are the racers who can handle any kind of RC truck out there because of the many years they have in racing such trucks. The electric powered trucks on the other hand are meant for the new racers, who have no prior experience at all when it comes to racing such trucks. Their less complicated nature works really well for the new racers who want to learn something form these trucks as they race.
The choice of a type of RC truck that you will make will depend on the kind of racing excitement that you want from the truck. If you want the challenging excitement and you also want to learn something new from your truck, then your choice will be on the gas powered RC trucks. If on the other hand all you need is to have some fun in racing and nothing more then the electric powered rc trucks are your choice. Just ensure that you are purchasing what you really need in order to get what you really want from these trucks.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341121408137452590.post-52859371365112199832011-10-24T15:37:00.001-07:002011-10-24T15:45:06.838-07:00Quick Run-down of the Different Channel Helis

Whether it’s a house or a thing or something else, if you decorate your remote control helicopters, you will become like a proud parent who would be so happy if people would admire the excellent paint job you’ve done for you toy. This is one way to accessorize your toy.
Of course toys are just toys but at times it could be pretty boring just looking at the same thing over and over. That is why the human wonder skills of being a great inventor and artist are being put to the test when caring for remote control helicopters. Mind you, it may take a few days for it to be dome if you’d really want to put effort in making your toy attractive for yourself and for others.
Here are some tips to help you paint your remote control helicopters:
Most RC helicopters’ painting techniques can be compared to a fiber glass. It is important that you know how to use airbrushes, if you already know how to, then it is a plus. To start you will first need to wash the body of your toy with warm water. This is so that the residues can first be removed and you can remove its body flaws and manufacturing and other molding residues so you can have smooth surface before painting.
Wipe the parts to be painted with acetone, this will also remove the oil and grease on the machine. Use an abrasive pad to scuff the area to be painted. This will make any primers and adhesive to be used stick to the surface. If you will need to make holes or cutout, make sure you are using a 1/16” drill bit. You can then use rough 360 grit sandpaper to smoothen it. Inspect all parts of your toy carefully for any other imperfections so you can still fix them before the real painting begins. Make sure air bubbles are fixed as well. If you need to have your remote control helicopter checked by a craftsman go ahead. It would really help, though it may not be a requirement but is encouraged.
Next is to apply the primer. For two good reasons, primers are needed as it provide the best surface for the paint to stick to, and the second is so that you will be able to see imperfections on the surface to be painted so you will still have the time to fix them the second time or even the third time until perfection for the remote control helicopters is achieved. This is the reason why it takes days just painting your toy machine.
Once all these ritual is done, then you can already select the color of the paint you want for your machine. Paints have certain directions depending on the manufacturer of it. Make sure you follow the directions so you can be able to achieve the best results for a good finish of your remote control helicopters.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341121408137452590.post-29830677641247220892011-10-17T17:01:00.001-07:002011-10-17T17:01:04.923-07:00Syma S109g Apache Cobra 2 in Action!

Check out the Syma 109g!

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341121408137452590.post-80141956155752742842011-10-17T16:59:00.001-07:002011-10-17T16:59:20.774-07:00Using an RC Helicopter to create a music video

Starring: Benjamin Verdoes, Traci Eggleston, and Marshall Verdoes of Mt. But the problem comes when you have no idea how you can care for RC helicopters. These are the tips that you need in order to take better care of your helicopter for a longer time service. A well cared for helicopter will serve you for a long time as compared to a neglected one, and you will have a longer time of fun with it. Besides, you will get the value of your money back once you care for the helicopter carefully.

For beginners in flying, you need to ensure that all the parts of your RC helicopter are in their right positions as per the instruction manual that comes with the RC helicopters. If there are parts which are missing, you need to fix them as soon as possible. Do not try to use the remote controlled helicopter when all its parts are not in place. In case they are not properly fixed, you need to fix them then you can start flying your helicopter. This way, you will not have flying parts which can get permanently damaged in the end.
Every time after flying, you need to ensure that all the parts of the helicopter are back in their position in the helicopter in readiness for the next fly. Do not wait until you can see the loose parts when you can avoid the damage earlier enough. They say that prevention is better than cure and this is what you will be doing to your remote controlled helicopter. RC helicopters are quite sensitive and if they are well taken care of then you will not regret ever purchasing yours in the first place.
New pilots need to be careful about the places where they train themselves to fly their RC helicopters. These new pilots can crash the helicopters really hard and a grassy place is perfect for such crashes because it will not damage your remote controlled helicopter in the end. It is also good to learn bit by bit, starting with the simple, skills to more advanced skills in order to avoid crashing the helicopter several times because we have no idea how to do it. When you learn systematically, you are able to learn to control the helicopter early enough.
RC helicopters are best and they work well when they are properly maintained. They are quite expensive, and you will not want to waste all that money by not taking care of your helicopter well. In case of a major problem, it is good to call in an expert in handling these helicopters in order for him to check out the problem and to fix it for you before you can start using it once more. Only proper care will give you the kind of service that you need form your remote controlled helicopter, which is why you need to care for it really well.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341121408137452590.post-31741810206568079522011-10-03T13:49:00.001-07:002011-10-03T13:49:43.075-07:00So this is what an RC Helicopter looks like with a bunch of lights!

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8341121408137452590.post-27207665389556305262011-10-03T13:48:00.001-07:002011-10-03T13:48:52.341-07:00Have you ever raced an RC helicopter before?

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1
